Yes - all of these poems and the various recordings are erotic, and you, the poet, do indeed communicate your desire, gratitude and aliveness, your receptivity and awareness. From the title, "Your Body Rich as Night" to its concluding lines :

"An-other world! Another world! First, the beloved IS "another world" to explore and to

Another world is there for us cherish. "Another world is there for us" connects us

Starry, fleshly night." all to the collective imaginings of/for "a better world is

possible" - Starhawk's message, Gulf War II. As well,

"starry, fleshly night" is where the lovers' intimacy

unites them bodily, soulfully with the cosmos. And for

me, resonates with "Because the Night" (belongs to

lovers) Patti Smith's big hit which, in my circles, was

celebrated as an erotic, radical visionary anthem.

All the versions, spoken and performed are so beautiful and I was very moved, sometimes to tears, especially when accompanied by the music. Thank you so much for this Beauty Break in the midst of all the tragedy, injustice, fear and hopelessness. Deeply appreciated!
