Thank you all for the great responses to ‘Marsha’s’, that poem and performance in tribute to the woman who most introduced New Orleans to me. Here another tribute recounts attributes of ‘my first driller’ in the Oil-Field, Jack Groves, of Lake Charles and Broussard, Louisiana, guitar-player, paratrooper in World War Ii, and very moral and sensitive human being.
