"If You Want A Good Guy, Bill Is His Name" + 'Rogers Park, north Chicago, Illinois'
Two videos in support of a community, Rogers Park IL, and a candidate, Bill Morton, I admire
Warning: these pieces are patent pitches for the neighborhood of Rogers Park in north Chicago, Illinois—the “most multi-ethnic Zip Code in the United States”, I heard in 2002—and for a candidate running for Alderman to represent Rogers Park, the highly estimable and hard-working (I think) Bill Morton.
I got to know Bill and Trudy Leong through free-form radio-station WZRD in late 2020. I soon learned from Kate Smith how this couple had worked for more than two decades to bring assets and inclusion to Rogers Park. The place there had moved me with its colorfulness, humane statements and poetry on public walls, and walking, talking melting-pot of folks on a July evening of 2002. ‘Here, I thought, was the real, new America to be worked for and hoped for.’
Bill is just the right person to move possiblities along for every skin-tone, I think, and Trudy is just as generous in working with him.

Bill’s Campaign page on Facebook has plenty of interviws and testimonials.
I hope that you’ll check him out!
